Booking & Cancellation Policy

Anna’s Parkside Paws LLC (“Service Provider,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) requires all clients (“Client”, “you”) to review and agree to our Booking and Cancellation Policy prior to the meet and greet session and commencement of any pet care services (the “Service”). Please review the policies below and acknowledge that you have done so on the Booking Request Form. We will contact you to schedule the initial meet and greet session.
Client Responsibilities
Client agrees to:
Schedule a complimentary meet and greet session with Service Provider prior to Service commencement.
Accurately and completely fill out our Veterinary Release Form and Key Handling/Entry Process Form, which will be provided by Service Provider. Client will update such forms annually or as needed.
Provide accurate and complete information about their pet(s).
Maintain current veterinary records and vaccinations and make them available to Service Provider as requested.
Ensure that each pet four months of age or older is currently immunized against rabies and provide a copy of a rabies certificate or other verification from a licensed veterinarian.
Provide proper identification tags and properly fitting collars/harnesses for all pets.
Supply necessary pet care items (food, medications, leashes, waste bags, etc.).
Ensure home access (keys, codes, etc.) is current and functional.
Maintain a safe environment for the Service Provider.
Provide emergency contact information for Client and veterinarian via the Veterinary Release Form.
Inform Service Provider of any behavioral issues or health concerns.
Inform Service Provider of pets’ spay/neuter status prior to service commencement.
Ensure that all pets under Service Provider’s care follow King County's pet licensing requirements.
Provide reasonable insurance coverage via a homeowners or renters policy, for pet sitting services.
Booking
Clients may establish recurring Service schedules after initial service is completed.
Anna’s Parkside Paws will confirm your booking via email within 24 hours after the meet and greet session and completion of all forms.
Holiday Bookings
A holiday surcharge of 25% applies to Services booked during the peak holiday periods below:
Martin Luther King Day (January 17 – 20, 2025)
Memorial Day (May 23 – 26, 2025)
4th of July (July 4 – 7, 2025)
Labor Day (August 29 – September 1, 2025)
Thanksgiving (November 27 – December 1, 2025)
Christmas and New Year’s Day (December 22, 2025 – January 4, 2026)
Payment Terms
Payment is due in full 48 hours prior to the first day of Service.
Payment is due at the time of booking for Services booked less than 48 hours prior to the date of Service.
Failure to provide prompt payment will result in the delay or cancellation of Services until payment is received.
Payment is accepted via Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, or personal check. If you would like to arrange another form of payment, prior approval is required.
Returned checks will incur a fee of $12.
Rates are subject to change with 30 days’ notice.
Cancellation Policy
We ask that cancellations be made no less than 48 hours in advance of the date of service for a full refund.
Cancellations made 24-48 hours prior to the date of service will result in a 50% refund of the amount paid.
No refund for cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance.
We reserve the right to cancel Services due to severe weather or emergency situations
Severe weather is determined in adherence with Seattle weather advisories and alerts.
Returning Home Early
Reserved pet sitting services are non-refundable and non-transferable once started, as this time has been specifically allocated for your Service.
Inclement Weather
Weather-Related Service Modifications
Services may be modified or cancelled during extreme weather conditions
Service adjustments during snow/ice conditions follow Seattle Department of Transportation advisories
Heat-related modifications follow Seattle Humane Society guidelines for pet safety
Social Media and Marketing Photography
We may photograph, video record, or otherwise capture images of your pets during Service delivery. We reserve the right to share these images on our social media platforms, website, marketing materials, and other communications.
You may at any time opt out of having photos or social media posts of your pets shared, by notifying us in writing. We will remove all images of your pets within a reasonable period following receipt of your request.
